President Duterte, who presided over a post-disaster meeting at Hotel Andrea in Cauayan City, Isabela on Nov. 1, 2018, said he was satisfied with the local and national governments response to typhoon Rosita, which battered the southern part of the region and some parts of the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).
Officials from the Department of National Defense, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Department of Health, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Social Welfare and Development and several others, including officials from this province and from CAR attended the meeting where they briefed the President on their respective disaster responses to help those families affected by the typhoon.
The president, on the other hand, ordered all concerned agencies and LGUs to immediately address problems and bring back to normal situations the typhoon-hit areas.
