DAVAO CITY March 31 (PIA) - A top officer of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) said the police is indeed very strict on the people of Davao City in implementing the control measures against the COVID-19 transmission.
Colonel Kirby John Kraft, director of the DCPO said the police is strictly implementing social distancing to prevent the community from gathering.
He however, advised police in patrol cars to give assistance to people who have no ride and are caught in the curfew implementation.
"Kung puwede ihatid ninyo," Kraft said.
He urged the people to cooperate in the implementation of the control measure against COVID-19.
Kraft assured that this situation is only temporary and everything will return to normal.
"This will not last long as long as the citizens will stay home and do a little sacrifice," he said.
Kraft revealed that a total of 68 persons have been filed cases for violations ranging from social distancing, liquor ban and curfew. (PIA XI-Joey Sem G. Dalumpines)
