ILOILO CITY, Aug. 11 (PIA) - The government acknowledges and lauded the support of the private sector to the Hatid Tulong Program of the national government.

Presidential Management Staff (PMS) Assistant Secretary Joseph "Joy" Encabo, who is the lead convener of the Hatid Tulong Program, said that there is an overwhelming support from the private groups to the program, particularly for the locally stranded individuals (LSIs) who are returning home.

He lauded and greatly appreciated the big contribution of the private sector to this national initiative of helping the the LSIs to be back home.

Encabo was the guest in today's Laging Handa Network Briefing organized by the Philippine Information Agency and hosted by Presidential Communications Operations (PCOO) secretary Martin Andanar.

Bong Go."

He said that the generosity and support of the private sector is a big help to lessen the expenses of the government.

Encabo revealed that there are still a number of private groups that are asking the secretariat or technical working group of what they can offer to make the return of the LSIs more comfortable.
