TEHRAN (Tasnim) Irans Amin Esmaeilnezhad will be absent in the 2025 FIVB Men's Volleyball World Championship due to injury.

The player sustained an ankle injury during Irans training camp in Doha.

Bardia Saadat will replace him in the world championship.

Team Melli has been drawn in Pool A along with Egypt, Tunisia, and the Philippines.

The competition will be held in Pasay, the Philippines from September 12 to 28.
