Toyota Sales Up 24% In March 2026  FY Total Crosses 4.06 Lakh Units

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has reported strong sales performance for March 2026 as well as the full financial year, driven by steady demand and a well-balanced product portfolio. In March 2026, Toyota sold a total of 37,194 units, registering a 23.80% YoY growth compared to 30,043 units sold in March 2025. On a month-on-month basis, domestic sales grew by 14.28% over February 2026, when the company had recorded 30,737 units.

Domestic sales stood at 35,125 units in March 2026, up 23.80% from 28,373 units sold in the same month last year. Exports also saw growth, rising 23.89% to 2,069 units from 1,670 units. This strong performance reflects continued demand across Toyotas portfolio, including models like Innova Hycross, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Fortuner and Glanza, which have been contributing consistently to volumes. Toyota is also getting ready to launch their first electric car in India, Ebella.

Strong Q1 Performance

For Q1 2026 (JanuaryMarch), Toyota recorded total sales of 1,05,108 units, marking a 19.67% YoY growth compared to 87,828 units in Q1 2025. Domestic sales during the quarter stood at 96,492 units, up 19.18% from 80,965 units last year. Exports grew at a faster pace, increasing 25.54% to 8,616 units from 6,863 units.

FY2025-26 Ends On A High

Toyota ended FY2025-26 with total sales of 4,06,081 units, registering a 20.45% YoY growth over 3,37,148 units sold in FY2024-25. Domestic sales contributed 3,67,107 units, reflecting an 18.61% increase compared to 3,09,508 units in the previous financial year. Exports saw even stronger growth, rising 41.01% to 38,974 units from 27,640 units.
