Skoda India March 2026 Sales  Records Highest-Ever Sales in Q1 2026

Skoda Auto India reported steady growth in March 2026, registering total sales of 7,928 units. This marks a 6.82% year-on-year (YoY) increase compared to 7,422 units sold in March 2025, translating to a volume gain of 506 units. On a month-on-month (MoM) basis, sales grew significantly by 24.63% over February 2026, when the company had recorded 6,361 units.

Skodas current portfolio in India includes Kylaq sub-4m SUV, Kushaq SUV, Slavia sedan and Kodiaq premium SUV. All models have contributed to the brands growth, with consistent demand across segments.

Best Q1 Performance

Skoda Auto India has also reported its best-ever quarterly performance in Q1 2026 (JanMar), with total sales of 20,028 units. This represents a 16.86% YoY growth compared to 17,138 units sold in Q1 2025.

Month-wise performance remained positive throughout the quarter. January 2026 saw strong growth of 38.86%, with sales at 5,739 units, up from 4,133 units last year. February 2026 sales stood at 6,361 units, registering a 13.94% YoY increase over 5,583 units. March 2026 continued the momentum with 7,928 units, reflecting a 6.82% YoY growth.

Commenting on the milestone,Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Skoda Auto India, said, Continuing our growth surge into 2026 with our biggest-ever quarter is a strong validation of the momentum we have built over the past year. After achieving a record in 2025, it is encouraging to see that we are sustaining this trajectory while also setting new benchmarks for ourselves. This growth is driven by a combination of a stronger and more accessible product portfolio, deeper market reach, and a sharper focus on customer-centric initiatives.

Portfolio Driving Growth

Skodas growth in India is being supported by its expanding SUV and sedan lineup. The recently launched Kushaq facelift is expected to further boost volumes with updated features, improved safety and competitive pricing. The Kylaq sub-4m SUV continues to gain traction in the compact SUV segment, while Slavia maintains steady demand in the sedan space. Kodiaq, positioned in the premium SUV segment, adds to the brands overall appeal.

Skoda has also been expanding its network, now reaching over 330 customer touchpoints across more than 180 cities. In addition, initiatives like Skoda Super Care, offering a 4-year warranty, roadside assistance and service benefits, are aimed at improving ownership experience.
